1. Problem

Access to safe drinking water remains a challenge across many regions. Even when solutions are available, projects can stall because funding is fragmented, trust is low, and reporting is inconsistent.

2. Mission

3. What WaterTrust is

WaterTrust is a token and a transparency layer: it helps coordinate a community around clean-water impact and provides a single source of verified links (mint, chart, swap links, LP lock, and documentation).

4. What WaterTrust is not

5. Token basics

Network: Solana
Symbol: WWT
Fixed supply: 1,000,000,000

6. Tokenomics

Allocation (fixed):

Vesting & unlocks

To align incentives and protect the community, team- and reserve-related allocations may be subject to time-based vesting and/or lockups. Any vesting schedules and unlock events will be published publicly with on-chain references whenever applicable.

7. Use of funds & impact

Water projects vary by location: drilling wells, repairing infrastructure, filtration, and distribution. WaterTrust aims to support projects that can publish:

8. Transparency commitments

9. Technical architecture

WaterTrust operates on the Solana blockchain using standard SPL token infrastructure. Token identity information (name, symbol, image, and description) is provided via Metaplex-compatible metadata, with files hosted on durable public storage (e.g., IPFS gateways) to ensure long-term accessibility.

10. Team & governance

WaterTrust is coordinated by a small core team and community contributors. Key decisions (communications, transparency updates, and project selection) are discussed publicly through official channels. As the ecosystem grows, governance frameworks may be introduced to formalize community participation and oversight.

11. Roadmap

  1. Phase 1: Launch verified website + docs + official links list.
  2. Phase 2: Community onboarding + first project selection + reporting template.
  3. Phase 3: Repeatable impact pipeline + partnerships + expansion.
